Black Diamond Tint is owned and operated by father/son team Kyle and Carl Rehatchek.  Our automotive business is based in Pottsville, PA on Route 61.  Our commercial and residential work is performed all over eastern Pennsylvania.

Kyle started the business in 2010 while operating a vinyl sign and decal business and began expanding into window tinting.  Initially it was a great addition to the vinyl business but slowly began to eclipse it as word spread and popularity grew.  Kyle's background was in the vinyl industry from his teenage years working at Kovatch Mobile Equipment (KME), preparing and installing the graphics, lettering and striping on the fire trucks and other apparatus.  It was here that he realized his talent in the applied graphics industry and soon began creating his own designs and computerized work.

As Black Diamond was growing in 2013, his father Carl decided to join the business with Kyle and formed a partnership in order to keep up with demand.  Since 2013 we have continued to grow steadily year after year and have continued to add multiple services and equipment. 

​

Carl's background is in the automotive and manufacturing industry where he spent several years as an auto body technician, eventually managing the body shop.  He moved on from there to his position as a plant manager of a final assembly fire truck manufacturing facility where he spent nearly 30 years.   His attention to detail and mechanical ability helped him achieve continued success in his career there and has been proven to be a great asset to Black Diamond and our growth.

As we have grown and expanded in recent years, we have attended multiple training's and conferences in a multitude of subject areas related to window tinting in order to being the highest quality products and installations to our customers.  In addition to the continued education, we have also invested in the most advanced computer cutting equipment and software available on the market to raise the bar on what window tinting should be.
