We were recently called to the Penn State Schuylkill Campus located in Schuylkill Haven, PA to address concerns about UV and heat coming through the windows in the library. They have valuable paintings and artwork on display that can be easily damaged by the sun if not properly protected. Enter: Black Diamond Tint.
We showed a variety of film options to them and provided them with an in depth overview of how our films perform and what they can expect from their investment. We finally decided to use Saint Gobain's Panorama Slate 40% which gives a naturally beautiful appearance, inside and out, and will remove 99% of UV rays coming through the glass for them.
The windows were in great condition but by adding window film, we were able to enhance the performance of the existing glass, as well as improve the views, all while protecting the interior furnishings and paintings. Win/Win all around!
We were able to complete the job in under 8 hours time and the college was thrilled with the outcome! I'm sure we will be invited back for future window film needs should they arise!
